Sandra Day O'Connor Nuty Liberal Conservative Republican warns the Country about a possible beginnings of a dictatorship in this country.

I, said O’Connor, am against judicial reforms driven by nakedly partisan reasoning. Pointing to the experiences of developing countries and former communist countries where interference with an independent judiciary has allowed dictatorship to flourish, O’Connor said we must be ever-vigilant against those who would strongarm the judiciary into adopting their preferred policies. It takes a lot of degeneration before a country falls into dictatorship, she said, but we should avoid these ends by avoiding these beginnings.

Also she critized the some senators approval of the murder of Judges who ruled out of favor with the GOP's moral standing.

It gets worse, she said, noting that death threats against judges are increasing. It doesn’t help, she said, when a high-profile senator suggests there may be a connection between violence against judges and decisions that the senator disagrees with. She didn’t name him, but it was Texas senator John Cornyn who made that statement, after a Georgia judge was murdered in the courtroom and the family of a federal judge in Illinois murdered in the judge’s home. O’Connor observed that there have been a lot of suggestions lately for so-called judicial reforms, recommendations for the massive impeachment of judges, stripping the courts of jurisdiction and cutting judicial budgets to punish offending judges. Any of these might be debatable, she said, as long as they are not retaliation for decisions that political leaders disagree with.

Well when words come from a highly respected member of the GOP speaks, maybe even Rush should listen.

Google has stood up against the United states justice Department in its attempts to gain access to its users search histories. The US Justice department claims it is for a study on eliminating internet crime with Child pornography as its main target. It is a no brainer by the average American to wish child pornography to be eliminated. But should it be done without no oversight to government as is done now with the battle against terrorism. The other major search engines including MSN and yahoo already complied. Google alone has denied them access on grounds of the privacy of its users and trademark infringement. Granted as a SEO, I would love to get under the hood of the algorithms at Google to get higher SERP results. But I support their stance on privacy.

Already in previous cases against P2Ps, like Napster, have blocked access to the Justice departments wish of placing real names to IP addresses (an address internet providers like comcast assign to your computer on open accounts.) This ruling could be a backdoor to those cases. So be careful downloading those Britany pics and songs! But be careful in libraries, for under the Patriot act your web searches and Library check outs are public knowledge to the Justice department and the various intelligence agencies of our government. In fact it is treason for a librarian to warn you that you are being monitored. So be careful with your searches for religious difference, opinions, and politics. Not a good time to study the differences between the two Semitic groups and their differences on religion.

This basically boils down to the basic equation of comfort/security to freedom.

With certain perceived stressors our body reacts with a fight or flight reaction. This is brought on by adrenaline releasing reserve sugars from the liver and the promotion of other stress hormones. Without the real threat that our ancestors once had of lions, tigers, or bears; we are left in a hovering position. Our bodies have not evolved to a new situation of perceived threats from abstract ideas like specters of bogeymen and the fear of loss of job or home. Under these situation we revert back to more primitive thinking survival. Our comfort and security thresholds over that of our personal freedoms.

Until a homestatis of these two primal concerns, we will look towards group protection. Here we will give up personal identity in fear we would be removed from the wagon train circle and thrown headlong into the wild charge of Indians. If we show any opposition to the alpha decisions that the group is following.

If this perceived stress could be sustained, our more modern sense of freedom that arose from agricultural surplus creating specialization in trades, crafts, and arts can be suspended indefinitely.

Leading to such things as the removal of habeas corpus in the north during the Civil War by Lincoln, the interment of Japanese citizens in WWII, blackballing during the red scare, and the removal of American soldiers from international law the day before September 11 2001.

Jefferson warned with the creation of the first standing federal army under Adams that once you ask for more protection from a federal body to expect limitations to personal freedoms of its citizens in accordance to.

But is not our personal freedoms necessary for our survival as well. If it was not we would not have intraspecies conflicts. Or politics for that matter?

Pakistani and Indian Woes

Remember way back in 2000? Pakistan and India was on the brink of Nuclear war. It seems Kashmir is more than a Led Zeppelin song. So these two countries was going to play badminton across the Himalayas. They are taking a strong chance that the fallout would stay on India's side with the natural barrier that the Himalayas cause which create their monsoons. India might hope that the dry conditions over the Thar desert prevent the fall out from condensing into clouds and returning to India. But if the northeast of America is recieving acid rain from the Great Lakes region, I do not think it would be a good idea to piss on your neighbor.

So you may be asking why the American Embassy was bombed this week in Pakistan. Well, we promised Pakistan support if they hunt out Osama for us. But instead we promised India Nuclear advancements. Albeit, supposedly for civilian purposes only. You might feel like a donkey who had just got a hot potatoe rammed up his ass too.

Some real high quality stuff was enetered that was surprisingly funny. well the one that won showed scenes of children no older than four working meanial low paying and sometimes dangerous jobs. Here is a look at the news events before 911 in the world. I have been meaning to look back for a year or two, for I remember so many stories that left me hanging when the world faded away and only New York and Afganistan was left. Kind of like Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian left hanging on to a blown up Planet X.

So here is a timeline of what was going on before and after. Some has nothing to do with 911, others build up to it.

Well here is the roller coaster ride of 2001. Solar eclipses (2), Douglas Adams dies, Civilians take control of Nuclear subs, Japanese sink Fishing boats, Chinese and American pilots play chicken, Tic for tac Russian and American spy arrests, Sloban trial, Kissinger wanted at Hague, Us backs out of ICC and UN meeting in support of Israel on human rights, and Chandra Levy. All this and more mostly taken from the wikipedia timeline of 2001.

Dubai Ports buying six ports in America including Newark is not the main issue. If that was it, we would only be talking about prejudice. The real question is why are companies from many other countries including Denmark, Great Britain,and others owning our ports. I guess it is better than having foriegn military bases in our country like we put into other nations? The previous owner of these 6 ports is the British Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company who is ok with the sale. Did the Brits get the idea at the Tea Party, who let them back in?

I guess it is just fair for UAE employee from Iraq to load our millitary cargo ships with goods from Acme.

If we can privatize the Army and ports in military zones, why not.

Now I wonder if anyone is willing to try a woman in the court of law during her menses for killing an embryo once a month? For what else is more natural than this fact for the last million of years more than this. But now when people propose using one of those embryo to give life to new tissue to the ill or even make a piece of Prime rib without killing a cow, it is murder. So should we try all the women in this world of child bearing age? One day Stem cell research can finally answer our unease about life feeding on life. Man's earliest religions was created to overcome their sense of guilt in killing an animal much like himself. The answer is almost here, but ironically it is considered murder. Yep the Middle East is in Asia. Here is a Map. If you are like me, in gramar, High School, and College I never studied a map that showed Asia as a whole. especially the Middle East was split on three maps. I could never tell who was anyones neighbors beyond those who bordered any major country (ie. China,Israel, India, Russia, or Saudi Arabia, It was hard to put relations to any of those because they always was on seperate maps.) On closer examination, our military could do a good pincer movement on Iran from the West and East. Giving access to the Caspian Sea to which would be more cost efficent than piping oil from the old Khanite region through Afganistan. Taliban, Pushtu, or Mujahaden probally still making oil companies plan a pipe dream. From the Caspian through Iran to the Arabian Sea, might be the best plan. Maybe Israel might plan another flight to blowup a nuclear Power reactor and fly home again. The Turks and Greeks have teamed up to thump the Franks, they protested thePope a few years ago for the Fourth Crusade dating back over 800 years, by creating a pipeline through Azberjan, Armenia, and Turkey to the Black Sea. It seems pappa Bush had a Quayle accident preventing anyone shooting him,Junior has a problem with his own VP too. It seems Cheney can not tell the difference between a 70 year old lawyer and a quail. I have an Uncle that is seventy and a bit slow on the uptake, if he never shot anyone, Cheney has no excuse if he can not tell the difference between a small bird that walks real funny with a strange flopping hair piece and someone he forced to eat crow, along with the bird shot? How long did it take you after all the jokes to actually ask if the man was ok? I hope he suffers not another Heart attack from the 20 gauge lodged near his heart.

A recent article at the LA Times has Lucas explaining the line in Revenge of the Sith "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause."

The burning of the Reichstag six days before the election was the pivotal event of the campaign. This blog will take us through out the vast culture of the world and show how they all connect throughout the centuries. I will present the links, but not the conclusions. That will be your job.

We will bring up historical details and juxtapose them throughout the ages. Example?

History may not be what it had seemed in the end, but you got to agree it is always changing, but the song remains the same. But in the end it is there to make you think. For a man who does not know his history falls folly to it.
